Story:
A very twisted tale, the story is about Shiva (Ratheesh) who is an IT guy living in Chennai and life keeps going on for him until one weekend he makes a trip to a village to attend a wedding. There his eyes fall on Sandhya (Sona) and after observing her manners and looks, Shiva falls for her instantly and decides that she is the one for him. He does not waste his time and informs the same to his parents who are more than happy about his choice. However, when they go to the village to see the girl along with Shiva, he sees that it is not Sandhya but someone else (Ezhil). As expected, Shiva is upset and he calls of the whole arrangement and comes back to Chennai but then his thoughts on Sandhya keep haunting him all the time. As luck would have it, he again chances upon her unexpectedly and before everything looks set, his father calls him back to village as he has arranged for an alliance. The truth is the girl happens to be Sandhya but Shiva is not aware of that. Again a twist happens as Shiva comes to village only to find Ezhil and not Sandhya. Yet again, he is upset but he does not give up and calls off the engagement. Meanwhile, Sandhya comes across an ex serviceman Major Rajasekhar (P K Rajamohan) during a matrimonial meet and is taken by him for his nobility and good nature. She decides to get married to him unknowing of Shiva's hazzles trying to reach her. What happens from there forms the rest of the story.

Presentation:
The director has come out with a straight line subject but then he has put so many twists and turns in it that the impact value comes down. The presentation is alright but the narrative as mentioned earlier gets slack. The dialogues are alright and the script is neat but then the flavour is not there on the romance angle and it is all about hoping and getting disappointed. The music is below average, the camerawork is amateur, editing could have been a lot better, the screenplay is simple. Ratheesh has show enough aptitude in front of the camera but then he needs to work more on his expressions, Sona looks good yet her acting skills need more polishing. M S Bhaskar did his best to gather few laughs which is acceptable. The others did their bit and contributed to the credits of the film.

Conclusion:
The film has a sad ending and that too after testing the protagonist for so many times and playing with his emotions. The audience who always feel good with happy endings are not used to such negativity, though there have been classics like 'Kadhal Kottai' 'Kaalamellam Kadhal Vaazhga', this flick lacked that level of maturity and presentation given the fact that most of them involved in the venture were novices. The entire length of the film goes on a topsy-turvy ride of emotions, hopes and disappointments ultimately leading to a dark end. Commercially, it does not have the artistic touch to create an impact but then the efforts of the debutantes must be appreciated.
